“To be given the opportunity to work in a foreign country can certainly be bewildering for most people out there, especially for those who have never been away from their home country for an excessive amount of time. For me, this was completely normal having already travelled around the world and lived in two country’s for a period of three years. I graduated from the University of East Anglia in the fall of 2011 but due to the economic uncertainty in the UK and EU it took me four to five months to find a steady job. The job was a lecturing position at Easton College, where I had attended myself for two years upon leaving with a foundation degree in Ag Management. This role was not a long-term plan for me, so I continued pursing my career goals looking for a trainee agronomist position within the agricultural sector overseas, due to the difficulties that I was experiencing in the UK.”
“Welcome ‘Moveover Recruitment’! While searching for my ideal job I was introduced to Ruth and Bruce who were giving a presentation at Easton College about career opportunities in Canada, Australia and NZ. After speaking with Ruth and Bruce one evening, they introduced me to my now current employer and good friend who farms 10,000 acres in Canada, SK.
“Fast-forward fifteen months and I am currently residing in Canada as a trainee agronomist while on my second year of the IEC program, (working holiday visa). This has been a life changing experience for me which I would not have been able to achieve if I continued residing in the UK. Since arriving in Canada, August 2012, I have gained such valuable insight and knowledge of Canadian agriculture and farming practices and I am currently working towards my CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) accreditation.”
“I hope that in the near future I will also return to university to take my PgC in Agrology to further enhance my career within the agricultural industry here in Canada. I am loving life, my career and the people I work with, so much so that I am now in the process of applying for my residency. It is a beautiful country to live and work in. I am always hearing how many more ex-pats and other people from around the world are moving to Canada due the increasing employment opportunities.”
“The entire experience and process with Moveover Recruitment, from finding an employer, and assisting with visa queries, has been excellent. The staff went above and beyond at times to assist me with my concerns especially during the application process for my visa. Their knowledge and experience of Canadian immigration have been extremely valuable. To this day I have a great relationship with the staff at Moveover as they have become my friends now and I like to let them know how life is progressing here in Canada.”
“If you are ever considering working overseas and want a stress free, friendly and professional experience, then get in touch with Ruth and Bruce at Moveover Recruitment and let them help you change your life around! Thanks for all of your support guys.”
